CASE REPORT: HEPATIC ARTERY ANEURYSM.A RARE VISCERAL ANEURYSM
نویسندگان
چکیده
Hepatic artery aneurysm (HAA) is a rare disease (0.002%– 0.4%) but clinically important phenomenon [1]. HAAs are traditionally the second most common visceral aneurysms with an incidence of 20% and have highest (44%) reported rate rupture [2]. The clinical manifestations depending on size include epigastric pain, obstruction biliary tract, death [3]. Imaging modalities like computed tomography (CT) CT angiography valuable role in early detection HHA, its complications, selecting appropriate treatments location [4].The etiology mostly atherosclerotic. Trauma inflammation may cause pseudoaneurysm formation, such as case acute pancreatitis causing periarterial or vessel erosion from adjacent pseudocyst[5,6]. Other conditions which associated hepatic medial degeneration, fibromuscular dysplasia vasculitis [7]. Atherosclerotic typically extrahepatic while traumatic pseudoaneurysms more commonly intrahepatic [8].

متن کاملHepatic artery aneurysm repair: a case report
INTRODUCTION Hepatic artery aneurysms remain a clinically significant entity. Their incidence continues to rise slowly and mortality from spontaneous rupture is high. Repair is recommended in those aneurysms greater than 2 cm in diameter. It is not surprising that vascular comorbidities, such as ischaemic heart disease, are common in surgical patients, particularly those with arterial aneurysms...
متن کاملA Case Report of Ruptured Superficial Femoral Artery Aneurysm
Single superficial femoral artery (SFA) aneurysm is rare and occurs in approximately 5 per 100,000 patients. Rupture is a rare complication in this aneurysm. In this case report, we present the diagnostic and therapeutic work up of a ruptured SFA aneurysm of the right lower limb in a 75-year-old diabetic man with ischemic heart disease. Pre-surgical diagnosis was through physical examination fi...

Other causes include connective tissue disorders, trauma, vasculitis, congenital, mycotic and idiopathic. The primary complication is myocardial ischemia or infarction, with rupture being rare. Treatment options include anticoagulat...
